Andrew DeGroat, N.D. is a naturopathic doctor, manual and movement therapist, educator, and published author whose work bridges integrative health, somatic healing, and mindful wellness practices. Widely recognized as The Body Work Doctor, he integrates naturopathy, manual therapy, yoga, somatic movement, and holistic health strategies to support whole-person wellbeing.

He is the author of The Body Worth Doctrine, a foundational work presenting a body-centered, trauma-informed philosophy that affirms the inherent intelligence, dignity, and worth of the human body while reframing ethical, client-centered care.

He also authored The Medical Cannabis Integration Journal, Second Edition, a 90-day guided framework designed to support intentional, informed medical cannabis use. This structured journal helps patients and consumers track symptoms, reflect on outcomes, and thoughtfully integrate cannabis into broader health and wellness practices with clarity and purpose.

In addition to his written work, his activism includes serving as a Smart Justice Ambassador, Second Cohort, with the ACLU of Delaware, advocating for evidence-based justice reform, health equity, and compassionate, community-centered policy approaches in every state where he has lived and practiced.

He contributes to Wellness Wednesday on the Namaste Wellness Podcast Network, made possible by Namaste Integrative Wellness, sharing accessible health insights and engaging in conversations with experts across wellness, movement, and holistic health disciplines.
